Vegas Baby!

I don't believe in the saying-" what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Yuck. I do love the show we have here the first weekend in October though. The weather cools down in the 90s then in the evenings to the 70s. Much better then the 100s, trust me. This year Bugorama wasn't putting on their Sunday drags but alot of Californians and Utes and even Arizonians came.( Is that really what you call them? I made it up on the spot.) About 140 VWs showed up Saturday then at night we all went to Red Feather ( which some believe is in the "ghetto") for a BBQ and live band along with an awesome raffle. I won a air conditioning check up worth 99 bucks which was in need at my house. Others won a engines like a 2110 cc( I need that too but no biggy) Can't wait til next year!! Hopefully our 1959 Mango will be ready. My 1966 did get best interior instead of Top 20 because I didn't have my decklid open. Word of advice: at a show- Always have it open.

  1. Always open the decklid. It's a point system. If it's not open, then no points. I won a gift certificate to Butch's Speed shop, A $260 pedal assembly and an $80 cruiser pedal. Your bus should have been in top 20, Best Interior is awesome too though. You should have made the Red Rock Cruise, it was a blast.
