Finally

My 1966VWs Alright, it's finally taken me years to put up a blog of my obsession with VWs. A little history on myself. My first Bug was a 1966 that my Dad and I bought with the help of my Grandpa Mac in 1995 from Beetle Barn for $ 900.00. To me that was alot of money and I owe my Grandfather ( God rest his soul) til this day. It was green and in need of some TLC which all VWs require. I was just too excited and practiced shifting gears in my sleep. I was the only one at the Las Vegas Academy that had an earlier year aside from two bettles and a fastback. My first Bus was a 1966 Bus that my Dad and I also found coming home from Canada with my Mom through the ghost town, Goldfield. Loved it to death but my brand new husband traded it for a Ford Escort-yeah, I know. Well, eleven years later he redeemed himself by surprising me on my birthday of 2010 with a 1966 white and orange Bus. The obsession reawoken.
